Moku-zogan is a decorative technique to cut out wood into pieces of varied shapes and place them on a wooden surface. They are craft arts of Iwate, Tohoku area. The patterns of cherry blossom and red leaves on the teacup saucers and teapot stand which are made with 3 different colors of wood pieces inlaid on a surface of the natural texture of beautiful walnut wood, are quietly fluttering. As coloration-free natural trees are used, each one of the wood texture and color is different which will be a great one of a kind gift.
